Award information:
6 students will be named TALENT fellows.
TALENT fellows will receive a stipend of $5000 for the 9-week program. Program Description
Key dates:
April 10- Application submission deadline is at midnight (email toLesley@nanobusinesstalent.org)
April 17- Finalists notified
April 23- Interviews with finalists at Illinois Science and Technology Park
June 15-19- Nanotechnology training at Argonne National Laboratory
June 22- First day of internship at various nanotechnology companies
July 8- Research proposal due, public speaking skills, social activity
July 22- Dinner with fellows and mentors
August 10- Practice presentations, social activity
August 13- Final project presentations and fellows reception 5-8 pm
Eligibility:
Fellowships are intended for high school students that are completing
their junior or senior years. The award is for students that combine
advanced aptitude in science and math with an interest in pursuing a
career in science or entrepreneurship.
